We had a dinner recently of chicken marinated in Cruz Bay Grill Rub and cooked on the grill. Used the recipe on the CBGR bag. Yum! Started off with a Ting too. That's "almost STJ" for us.

I have a new STJ flavor I want to replicate at home. Tap Room is doing food and one thing is the Tropical Mango (Beer) marinated BBQ Pulled Pork on a Roll....

SO GOOD.

Right now my fiancee and I are enjoying some fresh Mojitos I made (similar to the recipe of Waterfront Bistro).

So tell me more about the food at the Tap Room. Pulled Pork sandwich sounds good.

Well, Tap Room just added food and they are only doing lunch items right now. They hired a real chef (his name is Devon) and he is using the beers that Tap Room brews to make different dishes.

The mango ale goes into this BBQ sauced for the pulled pork and it is tremendously good.

I did not try it, but theres IPA in some kind of cheese soup -- which should be good with the floral hop aspects.

I heard good things and ended up having lunch there twice already for the pulled pork.

If you've been to Tap Room, you know of the beer on tap. They've expanded it to I think 16 varieties. They are all good and its nice to get draft where bottles are the custom. Their brews are all good (though I just don't care for the belgian style spice one, as I don't really like the taste of wheat in my beer) but their new stout is great.

So in conclusion, Pulled pork is a must, other items look good, beer on tap is great, and though I didnt mention it, they have pretzels and tater tots and some other stuff--bar food.
