Just found out that La Plancha del Mar, second level of the Marketplace, will be starting brunch on July 10th. They will offer it on Saturday and Sunday from 8am until 2pm. Menu items include breakfast, salads, and sandwiches $6 - $16. A couple of things that caught my eye on the menu are Cinnamon Bun French Toast and Johnny Cake Benedict. YUM!!!! They don't have the menu up online yet (that I can find anyhow!) but they have a Facebook page and their website (which they are still working on) is www.laplanchadelmar.com

No problem with access at la Plancha del Mar. Park in the upper lot by the Hardware store and you're on the right level.

Yes, wheelchair accessible. When you pull into the Marketplace, take the hill straight up to the back parking lot. There are two handicap parking spots right near the entrance to the second level. There are also elevators on each level (the only one on island aside from the one at the Police station!) If you need anything at all, just let Jason, Mike, or Johnathan know, they are pretty much the most accommodating people on island. They will bend over backwards to make you happy.

That is good to know - we find most people are pretty accomodating when possible - I just like to trouble shoot ahead of time to avoid frustrating my husband - I can't wait to introduce him to St. John - I went with a friend in 2007 and fell in love - I hope he does also - we are bringing our 3 adult children with spouses - should be a blast!
