Just 17 days away from arrival

. It will be our 3rd visit to STT and we are getting very excited. We want to try something a little different this time. We were given a gift certificate for the Ecotours. Has anyone done the mangrove tour recently? Will our 7 yr. old son be able to ride in our kayak or will we need to split up? Thanks for any info!

they have doubles, so your 7 year old could sit in the front and someone can master the paddling from the rear--your 7 yr old could certainly paddle as well-just keep him in the front seat of the kayak.--you will probably want to see if they have a single for the other adult in your party--

We did the tour many years ago. First I recommend that you use copious amounts of sunscreen. Second, I recommend that you go on the first tour of they day when it's not too hot. every seven-year-old should do this. Loria's advice is on the mark, as always. another idea that I am sure that Loria will also back up is to take a sail with Captain Phil on the Wayward Sailor. You can take a trip that starts at 10 am. You could take a morning ferry, make the sail and return on an afternoon ferry.

Thanks! We are planning to do a sail with Capt. Phil. My son can't stop talking about being on a boat. Any suggestions for how early to book or a recommended day?

As far as when to reserve, now is a good time. There are only 6 slots. When they are full you are out of luck. I don't know that the day you select matters.
