Luggage sand

Does anyone else manage to keep sand in the STJ luggage for multiple non-STJ trips? I've been on four trips with my carryon roller and it still has sand in it from November.
Cheers, RickG

We can never completely get rid of it either. I just swept some up from a backpack yesterday.

My carry on has sand from every trip---STJ, STT, Galapagos, Kauai, Bali..... I just let it accumulate and it makes me smile every time I pack!

That is why we booked a December trip, I need a new carry on and it won't seem like luggage without sand.

Rick--the snorkel gear bag--also contains the frisbee and sun products--has quite a bit of sand acquired over many years.

I hear the Weston has requested that all frequent visitors to STJ come and shake out their luggage on the Weston beach.
Just kidding.

Finding sand in those carry on bags is the best. Always makes me smile and think of beautiful St John...only a little over 4 months left until I bring home more!

That's good stuff! I think my carry-on must have sand in it from at least 15 islands/coasts from over the years. I've grown to love it.

I had bird seed put in my luggage (ahhhh in-laws) before my honeymoon. We use that luggage for our snorkel gear and grains still appear - 20 years later.
I think that stuff just breeds in the crevices somehow.

I love to find sand in my luggage, especially after a long, cold winter. It brings back memories of my favorite island and reminds me I will be returning soon. (Running to check suitcases now!)
