I know, I know!!! I shouldn't be worried about my cell phone working while I am in paradise, but when we go we leave our 13 and 15 y/o daughters home for the 2 weeks. We are very close and like to talk everyday :D I have always had T-Mobile and got good reception....however yesterday I switched my serive carrier over to Sprint. We always stay on STT.....will I get good service? We don't go back until December, but I have 30 days to quit the service with Sprint and go back to T-Mobile. One of my main concerns is the coverage I will get on STT. We go there atleast 1 time a year for 2 weeks, and NEED my phone to work! Thanks all for any help you can give me! It is pretty sad when I log onto their computer at the Sprint store and start looking and searching my travel forums to see if I will get coverage on STT! They thought that was so funny. From the sounds of what I came up with yesterday I will be fine, but I trust your opinions here and really want to find out for sure :D Thanks in advance!

In Coral Bay right now with no Sprint service. Roaming to BVI. Phone worked fine in Cruz Bay.

We just returned from a 10 day trip to the Islands. Included were two trips to STT. I have AT&T and my wife has Sprint. I only have AT&T because that is what iPhone uses. We had no problems with either service, except in Coral Bay where you do tend to pick up the BVI cell pretty often.

On the other hand, when we were on the day trip with Capt Brandi and Palm Tree Charters, we ate lunch on Norman Island in the BVI, at Pirate's Bight, and I was on AT&T 3G the whole time. My Dentist even called me to see if I could move my appointment up to that day. I got a kick out of telling them that I didn't think I could make it in that afternoon, I was on the beach in the Caribbean.

Bottom line, Sprint is no problem on STT and most of STJ and some places on Norman Island.

Thank you so much! That makes me feel so much better :D I bet your dentist office was WAY jealous of you that your were in the islands! Better to be there than a dental chair for sure!
