We made it to Paradise!

Hi Everyone!
After a very long travel day...we made it to Paradise, STJ that is!!!
Arrived on STT at 3:54pm on Wednesday, June 23rd and Rachel was there with a big smile to greet us and take us to the ferry. Our villa greeter was at the dock, helped us get our car rental and then we were off to the villa! It started raining on the drive to the villa, when we got there and I looked at the driveway, I thought, OMG, I am glad we have the 4 wheel drive! The greeter had to park at the bottom and walk up! Somehow my husband was able to drive up and down it! We got the quick tour of the villa...just as beautiful as the photos look and then we were off to Shipwreck Landing for dinner! We had a great meal...conch fritters, jumbo beer batter shrimp, garlic butter mahi mahi, curry-nut crusted chicken and a hamburger. The raspberry mango colada was refreshing after the long day and of course we had to have dessert for our son's 13th birthday! The waiters sang happy birthday as they brought out the chocolate decadence cake and key lime pie...both very yummy! The jazz band was great and they even played a jazz version of happy birthday…this was a night I am sure we will are remember! We went back to the villa and unpacked, got the kids to bed and turned in ourselves shortly after, it was a long travel day that started at 3:30am.
We slept in a bit this morning and are ready to go explore the island today! The sun has peeked out a few times, but I know rain is in the forecast.
I will try to post photos in the next report.
No longer a stranger to Paradise!
