USVI-On-Line

There didn't seem to be hardly any century plants blooming last month while we were there. Always in the past when we were there in May they were abundant. I wondered about it and I found this post in STJ Life, If you go to the link be sure to open the photos at the bottom of the page:

I've always taken a few shots of them each trip. I think that this one was from 2003:

I love them but I've never actually seen one in bloom. great photo!

We have them here in Calif.... and even dug one out of our yard a number of years ago. They're pretty cool, unless they take over!

IN April we saw a bunch of them on the north coast of St Thomas.
