Day 8 a Day Late from Bert

This is the day we’ve been waiting for! A day on the water with Capt. John Brandi and Palm Tree Charters! What a great day! Capt John picked us up at the National Park Dock at the prescribed time, we filled out our customs forms, and we were off!
Capt. John:

We wanted to do some primo snorkeling, so the captain took us first to Waterlemon Cay. Well, not really the cay, but along the trail to the cay. A place not really accessable by shore, but great entry off of a boat. The snorkeling was wonderful! Huge fans, huge Angels……I cannot put all of the photos on this report, but I’ll make them available after I get homs and put them in some sort of order. Another note, all the underwater pix were taken with our Canon D-10 we got just before our trip. They are unretouched, so when I get to my computer at home, they will be much better.

After Waterlemon, we hit the Indians. Always a great snorkel stop. Jumped in and saw this guy:
<a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/io ... site"><img src="http://lh4.ggpht.com/_255pkid3BhE/TBits ... 3.JPG"></a>
We then headed for lunch. Never been to Pirates Bight, so off we went! We always try to hit places we’ve never been, there are so many!
<a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/KG ... site"><img src="http://lh6.ggpht.com/_255pkid3BhE/TBizy ... 4.JPG"></a>
<a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/jj ... site"><img src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_255pkid3BhE/TBizz ... 9.JPG"></a>
If you ever have a chance to eat lunch at the Bight, do it! The background is to die for, and you have some pretty interesting dining companions:

After a wonderful lunch, we headed to Smuggler’s Cove for some beach time and a blended drink on the beach made by Stevie. He runs the blender off of his car battery since there is no electricity:
<a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/jO ... site"><img src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_255pkid3BhE/TBits ... 0.JPG"></a>
THEN…Off to Soggy Dollar! No trip is complete without hitting Soggy Dollar for Pain Killers and noodling!
<a href="http://picasaweb.google.com/lh/photo/xo ... site"><img src="http://lh5.ggpht.com/_255pkid3BhE/TBizy ... 9.JPG"></a>
Holding on to the Painkiller is a challenge whilst noodling, but worth it!

THE END…of White Bay
