What an active adventure!
You and your camera did an outstanding job with the coverage too; I'm enjoying seeing Kauai from your perspective. Thank you... waiting for more!

Spectacular! Really makes me want to do a helicopter ride in Maui.
But it was making me just a little queasy looking at the photos! Was that scary? Or did it just look like looking out a window of a plane?

Great pictures? We ziplined with Princeville adventures - what a great time! Doors on or off for the helicopter ride?

Jorge, I double checked my camera vs. the screen pictures to see if any of the pictures I used were enhanced. I use IPhoto and didn't make any adjustments except to the dolphin picture. I wish I had pictures of the shark for you! On the Na Pali coast we went snorkeling and saw 3 gray tipped reef shark. I am sure they are fine but I really don't want to stick around. That was a pretty cool day. Seeing the dolphins, then the Na Pali coast, then the snorkeling was great--after I was safe in the boat I thought seeing the shark was cool too.
GiGi we did a zipline in the Bahamas and it was nothing compared to Princeville Adventures. We all really liked it. They are going to start combining a horse back ride and ziplining. I think that sounds fun. DOORS ON!! What did you do??
DJMOM: I am not sure about doing the helicopter ride in Maui. I think it would be great anywhere but read tripadvisor. When we were in Maui, as I remember it, the advice was to skip it. But . . . it would be a great way to see the sights on the road to Hana. Especially if you are prone to getting car sick. Also, I loved the black beach on the way to Hana and wish we would have spent more time there. Have you ever been to a black sand beach??
Thanks everyone. If you want the written version it is on trip advisor. June 2-June 10 long long long by GinaTay. Note: of course it is LONG--that is how all of my posts are.
Sailor girl: if you go to the Queen's Bath be very careful. My review was critiqued a couple of times for saying that it was not dangerous when we were there. I still feel that it was safe when we were there but I understand where they are coming from. I will post a picture tonight that will give you an idea. Really, we liked climbing around on the lava rocks more than swimming in the Queen's Bath. I suppose that is dangerous too? Where are you staying and what do you have planned so far??

We are staying at Ali Kai and have not scheduled anything yet. I have a loose list of things I want to do like hike to first few miles of Napali Coast, go to the Canyon, book a heli ride for hubby, sit on the beach, do a luau, go kayaking, sit on a beach... did I mention sitting on a beach. This is to be a restorative trip after going through losing my younger brother suddenly two months ago, so we are just going to take it as it comes.
