Yo troops. Yours truly is one of 20 in the US of A to get to go to the first Fantasy Camp of the biweekly car mag. Go to
www.autoweek.com/fantasycamp and check it out. Look at the attendees and you will see my smiling face. Clic my bio and you will learn a little about my other life...I'm going to take my St John Dive hat but don't know if I will be allowed to wear it or not. Looking forward to flog 10 of the high profile sedans at the Ford test track and tell my side of the story in the July issue. Even get to have dinner with Danny Sullivan on Sat night...God bless...Bill

Very cool stuff, Bill. My hubby would be very jealous. He used to have and run a 3rd gen. RX7. I almost got run over at Summit Point by a guy (note I don't say a friend) we knew who had way more car than he could handle!
Good memories...except maybe that one.
Racing memories...

Flip-flop...Wow the high speed bug is alive on the forum. Lots of great memories from Summit Point. I ran in the Woodbridge Kart Club for a few years. Enduro lay down kart, 100 miles an hour on your back! Finished on a high note as a class champion and then became the race director. I ran the national series of the World Karting Association as well finished 5th in the nation one year. I did the high end sportscars in the early 70's. Then overseas in the Navy.
Don't know if we will be back to STJ this year as we now have a new grand daughter in Cal. Trying to talk the parents to go to STJ for our regular after Thanksgiving time frame.
Why not have a northern Va STJ hug at a local winery. I have Pearmund Winery 1 mile from me. Should be about a 20 minute drive for you...your thoughts...God bless..Bill
