If you get the chance, do yourself a favor and go see these icons of music!

I was fortunate to see them in Tampa last night, and it's hard to put into words just how great it was.

I don't know how much longer they plan to tour, but despite their advanced age (as far as entertainers go - he's 62, she' 68) I did not feel like I was watching a "shadows of their former selves" type performance.

I don't know whether to feel heartened or humbled from watching the energy they put into the show, but I'm awfully glad that I got to see it.

I have been reading great things about the shows and I'm glad to get a personal confirmation of that. Looking forward to the show in Philly on Thursday!

For those (like me  ) not fortunate enough to have tickets, PBS has been playing their 2007 concert "Live at the Troubadour".

I'm avoiding that PBS airing until after Thursday.

according to that Times article the tour will only go through July 20. sounds like there was talk of going to Europe but so far no.

JT is doing a 4 show series at Carnegie Hall next year. Would love to indulge myself and go to all 4 shows.

It was here in Nashville around my birthday, but I didn't want to pay the steep ticket price. Now I am kicking myself.

Funny that a 33 year old had never heard of them, because a little boy, maybe 10, came into Toys R Us last night with a shirt from the show on!

a friend of mine took some great photos at the Philly show the other night. If you are sitting close bring a camera.

Will do! Ive seen JT a bunch of times, usually at Jones Beach which IMHO is the best venue in which to see him, although I hear Tangelwood is pretty good as well.
