Hello again,

I am looking at booking two trips for the last week in June. Fishing on June 25th and a trip to Yost on June 27th.

Here is the dilema.. The fishing trip may be 8 to 10 people and the trip to Yost may be as many.. Any advise for a boat for a large crew like that..

PS: I am heading down from June 7th to June 11th to set up last minute details if anyone is planning a water excursion and needs another body.. let me know.. ( I look at it as research) :)

PSS: Just an Irish Long Island guy who works in a suit and tie getting married in June and setting up some cool stuff for the family...

I can't think of any sport fishing vessels that can legally carry more than 6 passengers --??-- but the other trip there are a few vessels licensed for 12 passengers International - I suggest Seamore Charters with Capt. Frank.

You can give Ocean Runner a call, 340-693-8809. They have some boats that can carry more than 6, and you can rent more than one boat to accommodate large groups. You can only fish in US waters without a special BVI permit, which few people have, so those people without their passports can go. But as far as Jost and the rest of the BVI, the people without passports are gonna have to stay behind.

I don't know about fishing, but for the Jost trip, check out borntorhumb.com. Captain Kevin is great and the boat can take up to 12.

Cinnomon Bay can take up to 22 for a trip to Jost so you'll have lots of room and the trip is run really nice

My group of 11 has booked Captain Kevin and Born to Rhumb for July 1, after reading many great reviews.

Thanks all,

Most of the non family guests backed out of the fishing this weekend.

Good for us ( we can take a normal sport fisher now) , but kinda sad for their wives.. Married to girly men.. :)
