Thanks in advance for you help!!!
I have a couple of options on flights, and would like to know what the approx time it takes, once you arrive in Stt to get on a taxi to either Charlotte Amalie or Red Hook for the ferry and arrival on St John? I have two options to choose from 2;50pm or 5:33pm both on Friday December 3rd.

As always you guys rock!

If you want to arrive in STJ before dark, you will need to take the 2:30 arrival time.

We always take the 2:50pm arrival and out of Red Hook we usually are in Cruz Bay by 5pm. If your luggage comes quick enough you may make the 4pm ferry.
good luck

We are early birds and will do everything possible to get to STJ by mid-afternoon. I would definately want to arrive before dark just because, well just because.
I vote for 2:50pm

I vote earlier
Keep in mind that if you arrive, on time, at 5:33pm you won't make the 6pm ferry so you will be on the 7pm with an arrival time to STJ at 7:20pm. If you are renting a villa, by the time you get your car (make sure you rent from a company that will leave the keys) it will be 8:00pm or later if in Coral Bay - just in time for bed
Also it will be dark by 5:45pm(ish) so I would much rather arrive in the daylight.

I also agree.....the earlier the better

That way you can get settled in your villa and not be running around at 10:00PM trying to ger situated after a long day of travel.

Thank you all!!! I am going with the early arrival, little bit more expensive ticket, but I'm buying them tonight. This airfare game drives me crazy!! I agree the earlier the quicker one will get a painkiller also! Here is to another enjoyable stay on St John...Cheers! to all!
