Less than 3 weeks so I guess I can start counting down. I’ve been reading your posts for the last few weeks…thanks for all the great information and trip reports.

My first visit to STJ was in 2002 for my honeymoon. We went back the following year and brought another couple along with us. Now, seven years later the four of us are returning (too long between visits).

About a month ago I emailed my buddy in MI and asked him what were the chances that he and his wife would want to take a vacation in June back to STJ and to my surprise he replied that they were pretty good. I spent the next week researching villas, doing some haggling, cashing in some frequent flier miles and now we’re ready to go.

Grandparents are watching the kids and dogs and I’m looking forward to a week of eating, drinking and being lazy. Just hope I can navigate around the new round a bout (lol).

Anyone else going to be around June 5-12 for happy hour?

We will be on island June 7 - 16 and up for happy hour. We have visited twice, once by ourselves, and then we brought 2 other couples in '05. Like you, don't get to STJ often enough, too many beautiful islands to get to before its too late. Decided at last minute to celebrate my 50th on my favorite island. My big day isn't til Aug, but thought that would even be hotter than June! Starting to get excited about the trip now!
