It is official as reality hit me hard today. Counting 9 working days until we leave for the rock. On my desk is my digital picture frame just swapping picture after picture of St. John. I watched that sucker for about 4 hours today. Of course I scattered papers around my desk and threw the calculator down once in a while and added in a few "ahhhh man's" in there to make it look like I was busy.
This my friends is called "RE-ENTRY" to the rock.
See you at the BB on the 14th about 6 ish, Minimal Regatta on the 15th.

C'mon now Mike....you need to thrown in the requisite Sonuva....get in here (insert subordinate's name here!). shove a pile of papers their way and say "I want this fixed by the time I get back from lunch!", and then just storm out without instructions!
OK, maybe you should save that one for your last day in the office.
I know I've only got 48 days left and I'm already losing productive time in the office. I need this vacation bad...as I'm sure we all do!

If you can gain sympathy at the office before a tropical vacation, you are a pro. I always liked to act a little more stressed, just for fun. Frown a lot, make jokes about jumping off the roof. People still never felt sorry for me. Weird.

See you very soon Ruth. Should be on the 5:00 ferry on the 14th so if you want to come on down and do the chicken dance with a few cold ones. We won't complain.

Gain sympathy...lol. I got slammed with a ton projects and meeting after meeting. I turned my meeting schedule to show NOT AVAILABLE from the 11th thru 13th.
