OK, I deleated the link - obviously I don't want to start a war - must have been my English sense of humor coming out.

Pia - I discovered this blog last week, and I agree - a very funny look at life on St. John by someone who lives there. Whoever it is monitors this forum - and he/she finds some of us amusing at times. Imagine that!

Hey, they even quoted me in one of their posts! Wouldn't be the first blog to gain notoriety making fun of us "dumb tourists" but to do it to locals and tourists alike? Well, I guess that's a little more original.

Yeah, this could get real interesting.....

If she/he posts about a whiney guest that expected to have one beach towel per person, it was me back in '08.

Yup. And from at least one of the photos they posted of a very recognizable villa, it's relatively easy to tell who they're greeting for. The Internet does work both ways. :)

Did you see what some villa "guests" had done to one of the villa's...........unbelievable!!!!!!!

The villa in question is a multi million dollar villa that is quite unique (and beautiful) and how any guest could think it is OK for them to graffiti one of the villa walls with chalk is unthinkable and I believe the photo posted was only a small section (could be wrong on that though) I had seen photos of the damage done and all I can say is wow

I agree some of their fodder is pretty funny, the general "only in the islands" stuff in particular. But when you target actual people, expect some actual people to not especially appreciate it. :)

I agree, that was awful. I cannot imagine letting my child do that.

I missed the chalk post, point me to it.

Nevermind, I found it. Now that is just awful, I hope the clean-up was taken out of their security deposi. Completely uncalled for.
