For midweek travel, you might be able to get to JVD via West End, Tortola. And if there's some layover time in West End, you could walk up the Jolly Roger for their yummy conch fritters.

To be safe I suggest calling the ferry company directly-- although I think in Pia's post ssomeone did and reported back. But things always change.
I think the ferry was still running Fri-Mon. But don't hold me to that.
You could also opt for a private charter if its a "must do."

Thanks for the info. The private deal was way too expensive! Darn![/list]

I just got back from Jost, and yes as of May 1, only direct ferries will be Fri, Sat and Sun. You could go thru W. End in Tortola.

How long does that take? Any idea? The problem is I can not go on a fri sat or sun. How often does Tortola ferry run?

Here's link to the Tortola/JVD ferry schedules.

Looks like about every 2 hours daily. More frequent than the STJ/West End ferry.
