Question about Great Lameshur

Hope I'm not being too nosey, but can anyone tell me anything about the house shown below which is located at the extreme right (as you face the water from the beach) end of Great Lameshur Beach?

I'm not 100% sure, but I thought that it was something to do with the Tektite Project.

It's part of VIERS.

Yes, it is the marine lab owned jointly by the University of the VI and the VINP, managed by VIERS.
Thank you very much for being concerned about being nosy--a commendable and increasingly rare approach.
