Can anyone on island tell me how the crowds have been lately? and the mosquitos? I was hoping that spring breakers were gone and that things had quieted down a bit.

I am here now. It's more crowded than the summer, but OK. Lots of people hanging on the beach, not many people snorkeling= OK with me. I did not see "spring breakers" (they should all be home now studying for finals, haha), but there are lots of familes with kids.

The weather is sketchy. It's been raining pretty much all day and I think there is more in the forecast. We went to the beach this morning but are now back in the villa. Bugs are here, bring deet. With deet and off coils, I have only gotten three bites since yesterday and I am a bug magnet. Haven't been to any restaurants or in to town yet so can't comment on the crowds there.

Thanks Liamsaunt. I think some of the families that you are seeing on the beaches are those folks that are taking advantage of the public school spring break. Me. and Ma. are on it this week and NH has it next week. I hope that they sell the mosquito coils on island 'cause I think we used ours all up last camping season.
