elk bay

Has anyone ever snorkled Elk Bay? How was the snorkeling, and what was the access like to get there? Looks like there could be good snorkeling there, but can't find out any info.
I've not snorkeled there, but this article from Gerald Singer describes access to Elk Bay. It doesn't sound too difficult:
