Island Tunes....via iTunes

First off, iTunes....so dread! So, here are a few vintage, but totally rockin', songs to get you ready, or keep you in the rhythm....Mix between Soca, Reggae, Calypso,..etc.

Many of the songs are double entendre. See if you can figure them out. These are NOT dirty songs.

Thanks, alot of salsa in there, hadn't listened to Third World in many years, I downloaded a few of those.

After our last trip to P.R., we were really getting into the latin music we heard on the radio there. On our way back, we happened to land in Boston at 10pm on a Sat evening, got the car and turned on the local NPR station by mistake, and voila they were playing salsa! They had a latin music show on called Con Salsa. We liked alot of the music, and it turns out that they list every song from this show on their web site. I used this to go into itunes and find more stuff from the same artists....found alot that we like....here's the link:
