Very nice.
My daffodils came up last weekend, but definitely wanted to hide when it started snowing yesterday morning. I could hear them - "WTF?"
The azalea barely has a bud on it.

A few more from the back...
Banana shrub loaded with pussy willow-like buds that look like this when open and smell like a banana or even more, like juicy fruit gum.

Beautiful flowers. Love the azalea.
My flowerbeds are still under the snow. Not even a crocus or daffodil visible. Spring is very late here.

Iprof,
Oh your Banana shrub is beautiful and the aroma sounds lovely. Your Blue-eyed grass blooms are so pretty. I just love purple flowers.
How big is your backyard?

You warm weather people with such beautiful flowers are lucky!
So far daffodils are about the only thing openning here. Crocuses have been open for a while too.

PA Girl - I would love to have daffodils, tulips and forsythia. Crocuses would be nice too.
CA Girl - are the lemons Meyer? We do have a Meyer lemon tree which lost all leaves and about 150 lemons when our long lasting freezes arrived. We are still trimming out dead wood, but it will survive. No pics of that!
Your beautiful azaleas look a lot like our "Red Ruffles" which bloom twice a year. There are no "Bird of Paradise" in my yard though; they are so striking and nice for arrangements. Thanks for adding your pics.
AH - thanks, the banana shrub is an evergreen and easy care. We actually have two of them. Our lot is a little over 1 1/2 acres total... all grass or landscaped (not very green are we?) except for the hardscape.

lprof, I don't know what kind of tree it is, it's not mine! I'm helping my ex-boss, Sandy, clean out her mother's mobile home (mom moved in with one of Sandy's sisters) and there's a lemon tree & an orange tree out behind the coach where no one can see them! But you sure can smell them right now! They're both in bloom and have a lot of fruit, and I'd guess by the number of flowers and bees, there's going to be a lot more fruit before they're done!
I'm going back again tomorrow, so I think I'm going to get a bunch more and juice them and freeze the juice in ice cube trays so I can have fresh lemon juice whenever I need it! These lemons must have the best juice ever from the way they smell!
I'm sorry you lost your tree

Maybe it'll come back next year.

When I see the pics of flowers here I wish I could visit Florida and California. Even though the snow has gone, it's still not spring in Denmark- and I more than normally am looking forward to it.
