I have to confess to all of you that I have been a bad forumite. I tend to only come on here when I have an upcoming trip, when I should loyally visit all year. Also, on our last trip (December 2006), we were supposed to show our faces to Bill in VA, ScottB, and Sitter, and our shy nature took over and while we did see them all at the Beach Bar, we didn't speak. Fear of rejection or something, can't explain it. And to top it all off, I had some family events hit when I returned and I.....I.....I didn't post a trip report.

There, I've aired all my dirty laundry.

Now, I hope you guys will find it in your big forum hearts to welcome my selfish, anti-social self back into the fold. I miss it here. Visiting this forum is like a little piece of St. John sunshine.
And yes, we do have a trip coming up, but I PROMISE that's not the only reason I'm here....

Hi and welcome back! I can understand you "chickening out" at the Beach Bar. I might have done the same

Enjoy the forum, I know I do - every day.

Hi Vicky,
Welcome back!
We were also there last December and were to meet the fellow forumites at the BB. However, it was just plain laziness and villa gravity that kept up away. Sorry gang.
When we went to St John Spice, we heard about it from Ruth.
When are you going Back? We'll be on-da-ilon April 3-12 and again in November/December hopefully.

The holy trinity of St. John welcomes you back with open arms. Oh, holy trinity – Painkillers, Bushwackers and the best island beaches in the Caribbean.

Welcome back! I vaguely remember you planning your trip because I think you were bringing your parents or something. If so, how did it go with them? We've taken my in-laws on trips (PVR, WDW and Italy) and it's not always the most fun so that's why I remember your planning.

Thanks for the warm welcome-back. I'll try to prove myself a worthwhile member.
Flip-Flop: good to see you're still here! You'll like St. John in November. All of our trips are either mid-November/early December or late May. They are both great times to go.
Flip-Flop and Patr: We'll be back May 23 - 30.
Jersey Boy: We had planned a trip for my parents and my husband's mom in early December 2006. My mom got sick 2 days before the trip and my parents didn't go. I was stuck with my husband and him mother. Ugh. Even in a paradise like St. John, that threesome was a challenge! Truthfully, though, we've travelled with the in-laws 4 times and all have been great.
