Need help on how to get to Honeymoon and Salomon

Hard to believe but after all of these visits we have never been to Honeymoon or Salomon. Justice will prevail and that wrong shall be corrected today,.... if I can find my way there.
Need your help. I think you can park in the Caneel parking lot but once you do where do you pick up the trail? How far to the beaches, can we carry a beach chair in?
Thanks

From the parking lot, take a left and follow the sign to Honeymoon. From there you can take the trail to Solomon.
Sure you can carry in a beach chair! Have fun~

The walk isn't too long. It's a little extra effort to get to those two beaches. But they are definitely worth it!

we always go down past the front desk, hang a left and up the stairs. is there another way to pick up the path right from the parking lot?

No need to go to the front desk. Just take a left when you leave the guest parking area and follow the paved road which turns into a gravel road just past the last beach rooms.

Amen to that!
Jay where are you staying?
We're from Mt. Laurel, and are leaving from Newark the 24th.

Jim,
We're staying at Coral Dream in Coral Bay.
And we're on the 7:45 Continental flight out of Newark, on the 24th. You on that one too?

That is a great plan!
Also, paying the $10 to park at Caneel can be a good thing, I've learned. First, $10 is really nothing in the scheme of a trip. Second, you can stop at the bar on your way out, order a drink (a Pomegranate Mojito!), which are all coicidentally $10, and be well on your way. This may just be my rationale, but I figure then you only paid $5 to park, and got a $5 drink at Caneel! Win-win!

It's one of the best beach/snorkel areas on St. John. We always park up at the top of the hill and walk down. A tough walk back up, but well worth it. Hope you enjoyed it -- and wish we were there.
