We're seeing good prices out of Charlotte too and might jump on it
We're going to Hawaii this summer and thought a STJ trip out of the question. However, hubby is traveling now SO much that we have free airline tickets for 4 and 10 out of 12 nights in hotel, out of pocket besides food, entertainment, tips will be less than $1000 for that whole trip.
So another trip a possibility. I Would just DIE!
(I guess his travel isn't that bad after all! And NO snoring during the week!

I was so excited to see that price

I LOVE having my tickets all bought so I know we are going FOR SURE

I just hope American Airlines doesn't jack my flights all around like Delta did for our trip this past December. That is the one and only down fall of buyimg so early.

You can be sure that whatever airline you fly they are going to change your schedule. You really have to stay on top of it because they don't always notify you when they mess with your schedule. We fly from a reginal midwest airport and could never get that kind of a deal. I'd be all over it if I could get that fare!! We usually use FF miles but the fares run around $600 and up from Grand Rapids.

You know I have to say with USAIR, they don't mess with schedules much. At least out of Charlotte. Maybe 5 minutes or so, but I can live with that.
Some airlines seem to be awful.
We have our first flight in a long time (to Hawaii) on United and they change it (majorly) and don't notify us. They said they didn't have our email on record. Right. My husband only flies every week. He knows how to book a ticket.

Diana....we live about 20 minutes from the Grand Rapids airport! It saves us a TON of money to drive the night before to Detroit and do a sleep-n-park-n-fly. When I priced it out, driving to Detroit cut the cost per each ticket almost in half. If you ever do it, I have a list of really good hotels in Detroit where you can do the sleep-n-park-n-fly!

We fly out of Detroit all the time. I somehow caught a sale on Expedia through United but flying on USAir - $265 pp through Charlotte. We are flying in July -Sat. thru Sat - awesome schedule too!
