one hour a week on St John

Yesterday I posted a breakdown of what "investment" is made for a week in St John (see "island time is mainland money" posting)
I found the responces very interesting. The second part of the equation was not discussed much. Regardless of how much money is spent, I found the time I work vs time on island equation interesting.

The breakdown resulted in working 1 full work week for every hour on St John.
Imagine if you could finish every work week transported to St John for 1 hour.

I think I would be eager to get back to work on Monday just to earn my next Friday hour.

I envision my hour on a secluded beach under the filtered light of a palm tree with a bottomless rum drink in hand.

I think everyone around me would be happier if I could spend 1 hour on STJ everyweek :D

Hey O2B where in California do you live? I think my only chance of spending an hour a week in STJ is by the web cams. That has to be enough for now. :D

I guess I am fortunate in that I do not hate my job. As a result, I never think in terms of work hours versus STJ hours.

I look forward to STJ so I can have time with my wife. I've never done the math on what that costs per minute because I know that I am going to do it regardless.

I am wary of over analyzing something as simple as vacation.
