It's been awhile since I've traveled to the VI's this time of year. Somehow my brain is having a hard time understanding that it is nice and warm down there. I have a stack of clothes on the bed; many with long sleeves and UGGS instead of flip-flops.

I look at the Spice Cam, I check the temp, but I still feel cold.

I have to get over this pretty quickly since I fly out Sunday morning; with carry-on only!

So, it's really warm, right?

we're heading out in the morning and the only long sleeve things i'm bringing will be on me 'til stt, then in the bag for good...every year we take less and less and it's still too much...we're both doing just backpack carryons...they won't even take those from us on the ferry...the path of least resistance to paradise...see you there! oman.

1) money
2) money
3) light clothes
4) one sweater, just in case for at night
5) a towel
6) bug spray and sunblock (if you don't want to hit up dolphin market)

Hi Jayseadee - Sitting in the Anchorage airport ready to take off with our carry-on. Wearing long pants and a hoodie. I have worn my sweatshirt in STJ before! Wunderground predicts rain first part of the week. Pack a few light layers. By the way, swimsuits take up hardly any room! Have a safe trip and we'll see you at the BB tomorrow! :)

Thong - check....

what the? Bev, what the hell is your thong doing in my bag?

Bathing suit - check
Flip flops - uncheck - just wear them
3 shorts - check
3 tee shirts - leave more room to buy new ones
Boston Red Sox hat - uncheck - will be on head
Undies - check check check
tooth brush, soap, deodarant - check
food - uncheck - I'm on vacation......no worries

The most important thing is IPOD! The ritual of having Three Little Birds - Bob Marley cued up so when I get a clear visual of Cruz Bay I press play...Don't worry, bout a ting....cuz every little ting, iz goin' to be alright...I say don't worry, bout a ting.

Have a good time.

Drink  pack left

We leave on Tuesday. 3 girls. I know I have way too much stuff ready to pack. I keep staring at my pile and can't figure out what I really don't need and what I really want to bring. I don't even know what my daughters are bringing yet. We have our polar bear cooler that will go inside the big checked suitcase. Then add in the snorkle sets (with the little short fins), the bathroom stuff and sunscreen and there is hardly any room left. We can each do a carryon, but I am still worried how its all going to fit.

Gotta go back and stare at that pile again. Wish me luck

You go Bevm :D just one thong though I'm sure Crash would apreciate a thong of the day for variety. They don't take up much room. Hot pink with a nice tan is my fave
