Does any one know if they have rotisserie chickens at Starfish?

Its actually pretty good as well. Although, if u want tasty marinated chicken, i would say that Uncle Joes BBQ (while yes its BBQ), to me, is the better choice, tender juicy chicken and some sides to go along...

I read the boards often, but log on rarely, however I wanted to tell you that the Starfish has awesome rotissere chicken!!! It is really good! You can make a nice meal, add salad in the bag and some of the bagettes they sell across from the Starfish and you have a great meal! :D

Thank goodness yes, Starfish does have rotisserie chickens or I probably would have starved in the last few months.

Here is a photo taken today.
(These are the kind of chickens I like to see.)

Had it for dinner a few days ago. It was very good and a bargain for $12.99. Also got some cole slaw and potato salad from the deli. Great way to feed a family for 4 for under $25.

Thanks everyone! That really helps! Even seemingly small things like this sure help when planning! I know, ours is under $6 here, but we are talking St. John, and I am not surprised. It is just one small price to pay to be in paradise. :D

Picked up the last one today - $12.99 at Starfish and $5.99 at CUL on STT and they are about twice the size (I think ours are Maho Bay chickens :))

I said the same to myself and then got smacked in the head by the memories of grocery prices.

But...I've seen prices that high in NC for uncooked chickens. There's a pork conspiracy in this state (Not that it's a bad thing necessarily

I thought $12 was reasonable, because I think I once recommended one to someone here who ended up paying much more than that and I felt really bad about it.

Still an inexpensive way to feed folks on St. John even if it is $12.99!

$5.99 here -- on STT at Costuless -- and as Pia says twice as big! -- plus its 85' and sunny everyday.
