We will be in St. Thomas next week, and would like to take a tour to The Baths at Virgin Gorda. I'm looking into booking through either Stormy Petrel or Limnos Charters. Anyone have any experience with either? Thanks!

We went with Limnos in 2006. I'm too lazy to write much about it, so I'll plug myself here:

I just looked and realized that my code is all wacky on that page. Ignore the silly symbols

We had a good time with them

My mom and BF did the Limnos trip in 2008 and really enjoyed it. They are definately not the party type and wanted a trip that focused on snorkelling/sightseeing. (White Bay or any eating/drinking stops held zero appeal for them)

Things my mom commented on:

The staff - she and BF(a veteran of chartering fishing business) said the staff was friendly and professional

The food - the on-board lunch, good quality and tasty. She is super-picky about food.

On-board shower - she liked being able to rinse off

We did the Stormey Petrel and had a blast!
The Captains take you through nooks and crannies that most people dont know about, and at the end we jumped off a 12 ft cliff into the water and the captain takes your picture while doing this!
You should pick the one that stops at the Indians as well, the snorkeling is awesome :D
Good Luck

I second Stormy Petrol. We used them a few weeks ago for the Baths/Cooper Island/Jost trip. They were awesome!!

I have done Limnos twice and enjoyed both trips. You are with a group and limited to the pre-planned stops. We took Stormy Petrel in May of 2008 and had a great time. If you have the whole rental to yourself your itinerary is yours to make. They take you on a great guided tour full of "history" through the Baths. I will most likely be looking to book with them on our upcoming trip. Have a blast whichever you choose.
