We're doing a huge renovation in the basement. Ripping out my huge office and giving me a smaller room. We're also adding a guest room and, most importantly, a bathroom.

Away we go...

I can't wait to see the basement when you get done. My girlfriend just did her with carpet that will not stain--I think it was mohawk. I want it!!! Do you work from home??

I got a little snoopy and saw your pictures. I am kinda disappointed that you look like a pleasant guy. You say the craziest funniest things and I just can't adjust to seeing you look like a pleasant guy. So, could you take a picture of yourself looking unhappy and purple? Could you also make a face like your aviator? The mess with me and I will rip you head off with my teeth face??

I loved your pictures. I have seen pictures of you before but really forgot--you are the one who did the coconut dance, right??

I'm less than pleasant

I was going to be my usual sarcastic self but decided to be nice. Big shock huh, Rob???
For those of you who haven't meant Rob (Pipanale....pronounced Peepanahlee). He started off by saying that when he first read my posts on the forum he wasn't sure if he liked me but then, like a fungus, I grew on him....As you all know I'm a liitle "out there"..
Rob's very funny so I guess that's why we hit it off.
He has a beautiful wife and family. He describes himself as being balding (true) and slightly over-weight (not true). We've actually met twice. So I guess the first time we didn't disgust each other enough to never want to meet again...
Anyway, in spite of the fact we're brutal with each other I love him and would love to be able to spend more time with him!

Good for you Pip! Finishing our basement years ago went a long way toward eliminating our "Little Tikes as a decorating theme" look. And now that the kids are older we love that they have their own space, with bathroom, for their Guitar Hero tournaments, sleep overs, etc.

When DH had his office down there we learned this: put some insulation/sound proofing in those office walls! (There will be days when the kids have no school and you have calls to make.)

Bite me Rob...see what happens when you try to be nice?? I'll just go back to being my bitchy self again.
