Update on my Toyota

I took my car in yesterday for the "fix". I was so surprised to hear that I wasn't on the recall list for the bad pedal. They can tell from the VIN number which pedal you have. I couldn't believe it though that it was the mats that they had to fix.
I heard 1/2 hour fix when I called. Then when I got there it was a 3 hour fix. I dropped my car off at 8 and it was done at 5PM. Funny, the guy wanted to know originally if I wanted to wait for the fix. I couldn't I had to get to work and I couldn't imagine sitting in the lobby for 9 hours.
I don't see any different in what they did. Feels and looks the same to me.
Now I hear that I may get a recall for something in the stearing. Who knows.
