Hi all - just wondering if it is a hoax or not. I had not been visiting the website for a while and a friend of mine recently told me to reply to a thread. I happily did and ever since then have been getting emails in my regular email account that there are private messages at this site. However, when I would go in and check the site, there were no messages. Now, I received a message from "The Administrators at the Forum" (or something like that) saying that there is a virus on my computer and provides a link for me to check. Anyone else get this? Is it bogus or for real?

I just got the same msg...do NOT click on the link! I believe Anthony would not address us in any way that was so sneaky! SPAM... I sent him the link I rec'd for him to see if it is useful. He's got a tough job these days!

Yes sorry but people are registering and then sending SPAM PMs - we are trying to stay ahead of it. If you get an email about a PM and then don't find one, it means that we deleted the user account and all their PMs, messages, etc. get deleted too. You won't ever get anything that doesn't come from Anthony or The Mgmt. Everything else is bogus and you can delete it and/or let me know about it...
