Tonight my husband and I went to see the hundred of deer that come to an area that was a big pile of corn this fall. The food sources for all of the animals are limited this year due to the massive amount of snow. I feel so sorry for them. I was a little disappointed that I could not get closer to the deer and take better pictures.

This is my Jasmine. The side mirror is really dirty but I thought it was a cute picture.

Jasmine really enjoyed the outing and did such a good job of being quiet.

... agree, that is a cute pic of Jasmine and she is a cutie.

Deer are suffering in Florida as well. Our neighborhood has several that wander from from one end to the other muching happily on the landscape plants. The record setting freezes here have taken much of their food... keeping a careful eye on my pansies!

Thanks for sharing the pictures. I feel for the all the animals now with all this snow, having a difficult time finding food. But I don't want to feed the deers as you don't want to have them in your garden in the summer, eating your flowers and vegetables.

Maybe an idea is to find a spot in the woods and feed them there.

Nice pics! We're surrounded by deer here, too, but never tire of watching them. Our deer are having an easier year than usual, with our mild winter!
Jasmine is ADORABLE! She looks alot like our Ellie, who's a Shischon (Shitzu/Bichon Frise). Ellie would NEVER be good watching wildlife, though....

Nice pictures.

Sounds like it's time for a new zoom lens :)

Thank you!

Iprof: I know--we just had some landscaping and replanting done last summer so I have been watching them.

Janet: I agree--I could not get it to zoom any better and I didn't want to get too close and scare them. I was disappointed that the coloring was off too. I tried all kinds of different settings. I am going to brush up on the camera and try again. I knew the pictures weren't good but I hoped that you would get the idea.

Minde: Jasmine is part bichon and maltese so she is a cousin to Ellie! We really adore her she has brought so much joy to our family.

I have noticed today that I have missed a lot of comments on the boards. I usually see them in my inbox but I have been missing them. My apologies.
