Fund Raising Ideas

At my work we are fundraising for Doctors Without Borders (specifically Haiti).

We've had a week of bakesales and people have begun to tire of the daily treats although a $20 box of Timbits (donut holes)did raise $113.

I have suggested a wine raffle (bring in a bottle, get 1-2 tickets) and then tickets can be purchased (ie: 3 for $5). The first prize is a case of wine; 2nd prize 8 bottles etc.

I'm looking for fundraising ideas that can be done in an office setting.

Thanks

How about getting local businesses to donate items or services and then hold a silent auction?

Nail salons could donate a gift certificate for a manicure/pedicure, a restaurant could give a certificate for a nice dinner, etc. Your office would make a lot of money and the businesses could write off their donation, as well.

"Goods and Services" auction.........
Have each person donate an item...either something tangible or something life 4 doz. homemade chocolate chip cookies, dinner for 4 served at your home, custom made crafts, services that their spouse/partner or friend could donate, babysitting, etc!

I work in a law firm. Total staff of about 35-40 people.

Thanks for the suggestions. We had thought of the good & services auction. Don't know if it'll be implemented though.

We've decided to go with a wine raffle. Firm is donating the wine (all priced over $30 bottle - granted we are in Canada where our liqour is about 3X the price of the US). Tickets are $20 each or 3 for $50. First prize will be a case of wine and subsequent prizes will be 2 bottles per winner.
