Record time

I sent a post card home to WI from the box outside of the post office in Cruz bay on Thursday at about 10 am my mom got it in the mail on Sat. 2 day's that has to be a record. Do I get a prize?

Last week, I mailed home a flat rate box when I was catching a plane home on a Tuesday and it was in my mailbox Thursday morning!

Sounds like the hard work that Del. Christensen and her staff put into investigating hte Post Office and delivery issues on island and throughout the territory paid off!!
You might want to let her know -- I'm sure she'd be pleased to hear the good results!!

Just a little FYI.... the cut off time at the PO is 10am, if you get it in before then, it goes out that day (used to be 11am). Also, our First Class Mail goes via air (for obvious reasons!!). So you usually have good luck if you get your mail to the PO before 10am.

It only took a couple of days for my security deposit check to get down there from New Jersey.
