NFL Playoffs

Well that was an entertaining weekend.

The Jets back up the big talk from their rookie coach and get away without having a punter.

The Cowboys win a playoff game for the first time in 13+ years and may be the hottest team in the playoffs right now. Poor McNabb and Andy Reed – yet another reason for the notorious Philly fan base to kill them.

The Ravens lay the wood on the Pats. Whoo-rah Rutgers Rah for Ray Rice!

And that was some game last night. The Pack had the 2nd ranked defense in the league? Really? Any doubters left about Kurt Warner’s worthiness for the Hall of Fame now?

Warner's such an odd case for the HoF, but I think he deserves it. He's had so many NFL careers...
The first pass where he did nothing
The Accidental QB with the Rams who rewrote the record books
Then the Giants mess
Rebirth in AZ

Has anyone ever been so bipolar for a career? The highs have been enough to get him in. But the lows were very strange

1999 Warner showed up yesterday and he's making me pissy that I didn't pick him for playoffs fantasy yesterday. Thanks for crapping the bed, Dreamboat.

Not soon enough!

I don't know what happened to the Pats yesterday. I really don't even know where to begin, as all three phases of the game failed them.

As for the J-E-T-S JETS, JETS, JETS...No team has ever been more fortunate. Two teams in back to back weeks completely layed down and rolled over, allowing them to get into the playoffs. And then, they play the Bungles - who are unfortunately, still the Bungles.

And really, have we heard enough out of Ochocinco yet? For the second week in a row, he was marooned on Revis Island.

Brady appears to have issues when you smack him around and put pressure on him. The Giants taught us that in the Super Bowl two years ago, right? The Ravens sacked him three times including the strip sack and chased or hit him on several other occasions. They also picked him off three times. The four turnovers led to 20 Ravens points. Ouch.
And why didn’t the Ravens challenge that muffed punt that was “recovered” by the Pats without clearly having possession as they fell out of bounds that gave the Pats 7 points? What was the Ravens guy upstairs watching?

How could the Cardinals be caught sleeping on that onside kick at 31-17?

And how about this? IF the Jets pull off an upset against the Bolts AND the surging Ravens beat the No. 1 seed Colts this weekend (2 very unlikely things) - guess what?
They will have to call off the bulldozers from uncovering Jimmy Hoffa’s body as the Jets would host the AFC Championship Game in the final game at Giants Stadium.

Which would more or less signal the Apocalypse.
