We are looking for a sailboat to take us from STJ to Jost during the 1st week of March.
I looked into Black Sail and Calypso but the prices with gratuity approached/exceeds $300 per person.
We had hoped to return with Scubadu but they no longer sail to the BVI.
Does anyone know of a sailboat that goes between STJ and Jost that carries more than 6 people?
We don't mind paying a minimum to get a boat to ourselves but would like to keep the total cost under $225 per person for the boat trip. (We plan on eating on Jost, not on the boat)
Breath is on my list but I want to give the rest of the group more than one choice.

If you are interested in a Powerboat (45' Grand Banks) PM me and I'll give you the gentleman's information who we chartered it through. It was $750 for the day which included the fuel, boat and captain (of course tip not included).

Have fun.

You may want to try chartering a power boat instead of a sailboat. We chartered a boat with captain/guide for 7 last year with Ocean Runner. They have a boat that can take up to 10 people.

We went to the Caves, the Indians, Willy T, Sandy Spit, Foxy's and ended at Soggy Dollar etc. in White Bay (cleared customs in Tortola first). Our captain/guide was Tom. I would highly recommend this - we all had a spectacular day! You can chose what you want to do and the rates are pretty good - it is still an expensive day but worth it!

We had a great time with Capt. Kevin and his adorable first mate Katie on "Born to Rhumb" 2 weeks ago. We were a party of 7 and I know he could take more. A powerboat not a sail boat but a fabulous day the highlight of our trip.

We went out on Born to Rhumb in 2008 and it was a fantastic day. This trip we were looking to do something different, which is why we were looking for a sail boat.
We ended up booking a day on Motor Yacht Cinnamon Bay. I will report when we return.
