Our new addition has arrived

My posting here lately has been spotty for good reason. I am happy to announce that our first born, Wyatt, arrived on December 21, 2009. He was a little over two weeks early, taking after his father, who has never understood the concept of arriving fashionably late.
He was a little guy, weighing in a 6 lbs, 6 ounces, and 18 inches long. We've been battling a nasty case of jaundice (caused by a blood incompatibility) but that appears to be behind us now. We are doing well and adjusting to life without continuous sleep.
This has been an amazing experience, and I have to say I was honestly blindsided by how much both my husband and I instantly loved the little man. I've been telling him all about St. John, as we have a trip planned for October. I don't think he'll be able to snorkel by that point, but who knows. This is one advanced kiddo.
