Anyone ever snorkel from Cocolobo up along Reef Bay?

I recall seeing a post that someone had snorkeled along the reef from Cocolobo to Genti Bay. The maps show lots of reefs but I noticed the other day that there are some areas of sheer cliffs (if traveling West to East up Reef Bay) and not any easy outlets if trouble arose.
Any currents or other suggestions/cautions?
Thanks

Great snorkel! - it can be extremely shallow in some places if you go up inside in some canyons so be careful for that - don't do it alone and I suggest bringing some form of inflation - as a safety precaution - it can be a long swim and it is against a mild to middling current - definitely don't do it with a strong SE wind blowing onto the reef or if there is more than a 2-3' break obvious. This is one of the most alive and healthiest reefs on STJ and one of the reasons is because it has a consistent water flow of nutrients from the wind and current - there really is no place to go ashore once you get out on the reef - so be careful about getting tired.
