Okay - I am going to get nasty here.
I looked at the great webcam of Magen's & got BLINDED by the big notice re: no passports are needed to visit the US Virgin Islands.
Yes - I already knew that - and "Yes" I already have a passport - But, I HATE the thought of many, many travelers who will now "flock" to "OUR ISLANDS" because they don't have a passport & can't go anywhere else.
I just know they will fall in love with our islands - and return over & over again (like the rest of us) and our favorite beaches (I will not name them) might not remain the peaceful bit of heaven that they now are.
Okay - hope you all still love me.
But, just needed to get that off my chest!

Have to agree with you. When they ask me now about where I go I just tell them to the Caribbean...and then I go on to say, "you know, I have friends who went to ________, and they just loved it!....fill in the blank with anyplace except my favorite place! So far, I've sent 3 people to Jamaica, 4 others to Aruba, another group to Martinique...
Thanx!
