TR Days 5/6

Today was a do nothing hang around the pool day with lunch at Skinny's, which actually was better than I remember in the past. Anybody know why they don't do frozen blender drinks though? Just wondering....
Checked up on emails at Connections East. We had no cell phone service on the Coral Bay side except when we drove all the way out to the east end, and then roamed it to the BVI's. I don't remember having this much difficulty before even just picking up the roam signal. We're on Verizon if that makes any difference.
Just some extra pictures:
We always like to have visitors:

Dinner was at Island Blues, just a short walk away. You can't beat eating out by the water-it was a beautiful night (almost a full moon!) and just perfect. The food's good, but the setting is outstanding!
By the way, we were hoping to eat at Sweet Plantains but they weren't open until the week after we left-darn it-never been there yet, maybe next time.
Tuesday we decided to go to Little Lameshur. We were the only people out here for a while, it was lots of fun. Since we're novices, we're only in about 5' of water, and we saw a BIG ray which was cool and lots of other fish. I even experienced nature at it's wildest because some fish about 8" long grabbed another fish right in front of me and then sunk to the bottom. It just lay there, with the other fish 1/2 sticking out of its mouth still trying to move and looking (at me, it seemed!). We played in the water for a while here, until baby jellies about 4" long came around, quite a few of them.

If you're not familiar with the road to Lameshur it's somewhat difficult. We'd been on it before, and I don't think it used to be as paved as it is now, but there's still lots of rough spots. My little camera does videos, so here's one coming back toward's Coral Bay-sorry for the shakes-if you know the road, you'll know why!

That would be me giggling/cackling most of the time!
We made it out to Vie's for lunch Tuesday-just yummy!!! I had the chicken and jonnycake, with a coconut tart-which they're now offering with sherbet-I think the choices were pineapple and mango-I had the pineapple-just wonderful food.
Here we are at Vie's-definitely have some sun color!

We made it to the end of the road:

Tonight we had to pleasure of being invited to BillinVA and Sandie's rental over on Great Cruz Bay. They wanted to get together with some forumites to pre celebrate Bill's 60th birthday. They were staying at one of Donald Schnell's places and it was absolutely beautiful. And Sandie put on a BIG spread for us, onthelake, and dcphoto (we missed you brenda!)
This was another first for us-we've never hooked up with other people from the board before, and we had a good time at the Beach Bar and at Bill/Sandie's place-thank you all again for making it fun!
