Good Day Sunshine!

I'm an early riser and am virtually always up before sunrise and tend to take sunrise shots every day when we were staying at Zimmerman and St. Quacco near John's Folly, overlooking Fries Bay.
I thought I'd start another sunrise/sunset thread.
It's cold and rainy here. I'm bored and missing STJ!
Here's a pretty nice one from November 2006:

And one more from that trip:

And this one from May 2005 is probably my personal favorite:

More sensational shots! It's kind of cool in the islands, as nature can make even photo klutzes like me look pretty good with a camera.

Absolutely heart stopping shots!!! I'm the same...up and down with the sun. Doesn't make for a very long day, this time of year!

Hey JT! Is this the same morning as your "personal favorite"?
This is late May of 2005, shooting East- Northeast from John's Folly! It's one of my favorites too, in fact I just used it as background art on a new gift certificate design for The Tourist Trap:

Do you think it's the same day? -cheryl

JT's photo (from Quacco Zimmerman) & Cheryl's photo (from John's Folly): Same Morning???
Holy Moley, I think it's like the same morning and at the same time too. Look at the cloud shapes over the East End, they are very VERY similar! Cool!
JT, Can I put your photo on our website? -cheryl (The Tourist Trap)

That is pretty, pretty amazing! That is definitely the same morning, same time, within seconds!
As to the Tourist Trap using my shot, please by all means, feel free. I'd be honored.
By the way, what ever you do, don't get your fingerprints on Larry's Cd's! Jeez, I thought I was anal when it came to my albums and Cd's, but ol' Larry is a riot!

That's too cool! Sun4mysoul and I took pics of the same, very brief, rainbow, in May. That's just neat!
All I have is sunsets....

How cool is that, that those two pix were taken at the same time!

It was a beautiful sunrise, I'm not surprised you were both inspired to capture it!
