I think it was here that someone mentioned looking at your State's unclaimed funds office--
well I just got a check for 2352.89! (an insurance settlement that wen awry, and a mortgage payment that went awry after we had refinanced)--
hot damn! that's serious money!
so thank you!!!!

I checked but on the MD site you have to scroll through the whole list. I only got to 1994 before my eyes went crazy... found $350 for a good friend of mine...maybe she'll pay for dinner next time

Yes! Thanks to the same person, we got a $129 check. Ok, not a huge amount but it was ours and a nice surprise!
