From the hotel assn.:

"At 7:45 this morning the Cyril E. King airport received a bomb threat. The airport is currently closed at this time. We will keep you posted as to when the airport will re-open."

Wow, that's really bad. I hope it's just false alarm and another mainac just wanting attention. But it sure make things complicated in an airport. Nothing to take lightly.

Sorry Boss, I am going to need a few extra days off. There was a bomb threat at the airport and things are all screwed up. The airline told me that I can not get on another for 2 days. See you after Thanksgiving!

We left on Saturday afternoon and I noticed there were a lot of homeland security vehicles. When we pulled up I thought that something might have been going on but everything was normal.

All clear:

"Good morning - The Commissioner just called and they have reopened the airport. The only stateside flight affected was the MIA outbound flight. They expect the flights to be back on track shortly."

That's good news for everyone except those on that Miami flight... Lots of missed connections coming up.
