First thanks for all the positve responses on my TR this is my first time reporting on our vacation. It's now Thursday the 29th and I am posting a few more pictures relative to the villa in response to all of the compliments of this beautiful designed masterpiece. These next few shots are just some interesting touches that the owners added. This is a medicine chest in one of the bathrooms.
<a href="http://s986.photobucket.com/albums/ae34 ... inecab.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i986.photobucket.com/albums/ae34 ... inecab.jpg" border="0" alt="medicine cab"></a>
A lamp that is definately a conversational piece.
<a href="http://s986.photobucket.com/albums/ae34 ... t=lamp.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i986.photobucket.com/albums/ae34 ... d/lamp.jpg" border="0" alt="lamp"></a>
The terrace table is a total work of art.
<a href="http://s986.photobucket.com/albums/ae34 ... etable.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i986.photobucket.com/albums/ae34 ... etable.jpg" border="0" alt="a work of art"></a>
I figured that anyone that might be interested in renting this villa would appreciate as many pictures as possible sorry if it may seem redundant. The hot tub and how about a nice rainbow.
<a href="http://s986.photobucket.com/albums/ae34 ... hottub.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i986.photobucket.com/albums/ae34 ... hottub.jpg" border="0" alt="hot tub"></a>
<a href="http://s986.photobucket.com/albums/ae34 ... ainbow.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i986.photobucket.com/albums/ae34 ... ainbow.jpg" border="0" alt="rainbow"></a>
The driveway out is not to intimidating as I know some can be a challenge.
<a href="http://s986.photobucket.com/albums/ae34 ... iveway.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i986.photobucket.com/albums/ae34 ... iveway.jpg" border="0" alt="driveway"></a>
Thursday was more of a hang out at the villa day however we did make a trip over to Cinnamon but it was to choppy to do any snorkeling.
<a href="http://s986.photobucket.com/albums/ae34 ... monbay.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i986.photobucket.com/albums/ae34 ... monbay.jpg" border="0" alt="cinnamon"></a>
We completed the day with great food off the grill, music and enjoying our surrounding views.
<a href="http://s986.photobucket.com/albums/ae34 ... uzshot.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i986.photobucket.com/albums/ae34 ... uzshot.jpg" border="0" alt="great cruz shot"></a>
A sunset reflection off another villa.
<a href="http://s986.photobucket.com/albums/ae34 ... sunset.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i986.photobucket.com/albums/ae34 ... sunset.jpg" border="0" alt="Sapphire Sunset"></a>
Friday included another trip to Coral Bay.Its amazing on how different the weather can be from Cruz to Coral.
<a href="http://s986.photobucket.com/albums/ae34 ... ralbay.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i986.photobucket.com/albums/ae34 ... ralbay.jpg" border="0" alt="coral bay"></a>
I cannot help but promote Skinny legs first the owner is a local New Englander so I am a little bias however if you want an establishment that makes you feel at home and comfortable Skinny's is the place plus Cindy and I needed our burger fix taken care of. We dont look to relaxed do we?
<a href="http://s986.photobucket.com/albums/ae34 ... egsduo.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i986.photobucket.com/albums/ae34 ... egsduo.jpg" border="0" alt="Chilling Out!"></a>
Saturday was the last full day before our "newbies" had to return home unfortunately they had to make the 6am ferry Sunday morning so saturday had to remain relatively mellow.Sunday morning came rather quickly so after a cup of coffee it was off to the ferry to say our good byes to Paul and Diann. We were leaving the following day so Cindy and I enjoyed Sunday reminiscing the week and revsited another villa that we had stayed in on our first visit called "Waterfall" which is located in the Fish Bay area along the way we stopped at the Westin entrance to capture some great shots of their visitors. My wife is a lizard nut Go figure!
<a href="http://s986.photobucket.com/albums/ae34 ... iguana.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i986.photobucket.com/albums/ae34 ... iguana.jpg" border="0" alt="A visitor of The Westin"></a>
<a href="http://s986.photobucket.com/albums/ae34 ... guana2.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i986.photobucket.com/albums/ae34 ... guana2.jpg" border="0" alt="iguana5"></a>
Unfortunately the day ended with my wifes knee giving out as she was walking down some steps and twisted her ankle which swelled up pretty bad so that ruined our plans to meet up at the Beach Bar for the forum gathering which we were really looking forward to meeting the likes of Steve (Augie), Rick G and several other forum members. Well I guess that means we will have to come back next October and try again!
Monday of course was the long day we had been dreading since Friday when you start counting down the hours . :( While Cindy rested on one of the benches at the ferry dock I went in to say good bye to Ruth and of course pick up my grill rub. The day was long but thinking back over the week always keeps a smile from ear to ear.The two last pictures to cap off a fabulous week full of fond memories are from the STT Airport.
<a href="http://s986.photobucket.com/albums/ae34 ... rport2.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i986.photobucket.com/albums/ae34 ... rport2.jpg" border="0" alt="stt airport"></a>
<a href="http://s986.photobucket.com/albums/ae34 ... irport.jpg" target="_blank"><img src="http://i986.photobucket.com/albums/ae34 ... irport.jpg" border="0" alt="sad cindy leaving our paradise"></a>
Cindy and I would like to wish all of you forum members and your families a Safe and Happy Holiday season.
Take care
John

good report, hope the ankle is doing better. The pics are really pretty, what a fabulous villa, so unique!

I'm a lizard lover too, they can be so sweet. DD had one as a pet for years till died of old age. Loved having his chin scratched and get sprayed w/water ! Of course not going to expect that from the island ones. ha.

We're on STJ same time next year. Staying over in Coral Bay area. So are few others, maybe can get a meet up planned?
