Boat trip to snorkel Waterlemon?

We are getting ready to head down to St. John.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a snorkel trip to Waterlemon? Renting a boat on our own really isn't an option.
We don't need anything too fancy (no open bar or food) just a knowledge guide to ferry us out and back.
Thanks!

You can get a captain with your boat rental from Ocean Runners for an extra $100 or so.

Don't forget you can always walk to Waterlemon via the trail (I do this every morning) - it's only approx 15 mins to the beach, but I wouldn't want to carry alot of stuff just the normal snorkels, towels, sunblock, water etc - I wouldn't carry a cooler, chairs, blow up rafts etc as I see people trying to do.

You'll pay big bucks for someone to bring you to Waterlemon Cay in a boat.
Just take the trial. Park in the Annaberg lot and walk over to the trial head. It's a totally flat trail and only takes @ 20 minutes. Just pack light- backpacks would be best. Stick a few small soft sided coolers in there for snacks, your snorkel gear, a few towels. You could even figure out a way to attach a beach chair to a backpack if you really need to.
You don't wan to be lugging a whole bunch of crap out there.

Two years ago we rented a dinghy from Noah's (340.693.9030) & went to Waterlemon first, then made our way back down the north shore beaches. At that point, there was a tie-line right off of the cay. Worked perfectly for us...minus the sight of me trying to get back into the dinghy! eek!
Or...like Pia said...take the trail from Leinster. It is an easy & BEAUTIFUL walk! It doesn't take as long as you may think it would! I agree...I wouldn't want to haul much though! Some of my favorite photos are of the view from that trail!
Either way...snorkeling Waterlemon is a MUST!

The walk goes fast because you have beautiful scenery all around you. You are there before you even realize it. I highly recommend just doing the hike.

Because one of the members of our party has limited mobility, walking in isn't an option for us. We would need to leave him and his primary care provider behind and we don't want to do that.
He likes boats and would be perfectly happy to hang out while the rest of us snorkel so I thought an organized trip would be a good option for the group.
I will check out the Calypso boat.
Thanks for the information and suggestions.

Hi PA Girl - Piloting one of the dinghies is pretty easy - they go pretty slow. And that would be a great snorkel trip: out to Waterlemon and then stopping as you wish at other places on the way back. Good Times!!
