We get it!!! Newbie TR VIII

Saturday morning, we woke up so bummed out. It was our last full day on St. John. Tomorrow, we would have to take the walk of woe, and really, we felt so heavy and sad. It's like just being on St. John takes a weight off of our souls.
So. Where hadn't we been yet, that we really wanted to visit? Blue Cobblestone and Hawksnest. We had alot to do to get ready to leave, so we chose the closest.
We stopped at Deli Grotto for the same sandwiches, and in no time, we were on Hawksnest. It turns out that I'm the nosier one of the pair, regarding what's under the water. So I headed in for my last float, and Blaine sat reading under the Sea Grapes. I need to mention that, to the left anyway, there's not alot of beach. Blaine was set back as far as he could get, and still the waves lapped at his feet.
Here was his view:

We ate our sandwiches and still weren't all that impressed. I'm sure they're better fresh and hot, and we'll try cold sandwiches next time. Then, we headed home and watched the construction guys put a 3 mile long bent up pipe into the back of a dump truck! Quite an impressive feat.
On the way home, we went to Love City carwash, to try to vacuum all the sand out of the car that the French family had had on them. It was closed. We drove all over, looking for another, but couldn't find one. We drove to Courtesy (parked in front of their vacuum cleaner) and asked if they knew where we could find a vacuum, and they said they had no idea (LOL!!!!!) but suggested we try the community car wash that was going on in the area of the traffic circle. We went there but there was no vacuum. So I said to heck with it, and we bought a little whisk broom. I'll pack one of those, next time. There was no parking downtown (Slimo's was closed even), so we couldn't really go shopping as planned. Blaine drove around town in circles, so I could go into St. John Spice at least, one last time, and score a couple of souveneirs.
Then we went home and packed. We'd brought $1500 cash with us and had $540 left, so you have an idea. I found the condo diaries and read them at the pool. It turns out that DickHead's name is Sam! No wonder he clawed me!
Here are some pics of the pool area and landscaping...it's beautiful!

This is the driveway for unit 1. I walked up the hill and watched for traffic, and guided Blaine out.

We ran down to Candi's and got our last ribs fix. Well, we had one ribs dinner and one chicken, cause she was out of ribs. Then when we got back, I spotted a car in the parking lot of Cruz Views, and ran down with our bag of catsup, mustard, etc, that we'd arranged to pass on to RPlano and Pianogirl. It was great to meet them! We showed them our unit and passed on the Weber as well, in case they couldn't get the gas grill to work.
Then, we enjoyed our ribs, and read until our last sleep (THIS TRIP) in paradise! Good night, St. John.
