After a long awaited year we were back in our fantastic paradise. Day 1 was long but pretty seamless after an very early 4am start to Logan we finally touch down at STT at 3pm. Red Hook always starts with a VI Summer Ale and a Bud Light while we wait for the ferry. Kurt from L&L was waiting with his usual smiling face and our jeep. Off to Starfish for a quick stop for some libations and a few groceries to get us thru the night. We stayed at Sapphire Breeze which is located in the Bethany area up above The Westin with fantastic views.
Cindy & I enjoted the terrace until about 11pm that night even though we were exhuasted something about the air keeps you motivated!
Day 2 started with our first stop at Hawksnest.

We enjoyed our customary ride up to Maho while we waited for our "newbies" to arrive that afternoon. This would be our 3rd trip but our first with another couple. They arrived with open arms and that infectious smile that happens once you get to the Island.

After a great Sunday night filled with great music, food and freindship we began our Monday with a trip to where else beautiful Trunk Bay so I could treat my friend Paul to some fine snorkeling.

After a fantasatic day in the STJ sun we returned to the villa for good eats, music and of course Pina Coladas!More to come

Great report so far looking forward to more. We will be newbies this summer (have not picked villa yet). I have always loved the look of this villa but we have decided to stay on the Coral Bay side with our family. The view looks great.

Great start!! Hey, where is L&L? VIVA mentioned them at a possible rental company but we've never used L&L so I'm interested to know more about them.

Hello Diana viva set us up with them our first year and I have been using them since. They are, (Kurt and Levi), very freindly and transactions are seamless. Jeeps are fairly new and in great shape.

Augie sorry we missed you at the BB gathering on the 1st, my wife Cindy twisted her ankle that morning so we spent the rest of our day in the "hot tub" not that that's a bad thing! Look forward to hopefully meeting you and the rest of the forum members next year. We have traveled to STJ on Halloween week on all 3 of our trips and really like that time of year on the Island.

Thanks for the info on L&L. Where are they located? Is there parking in their lot?

Diana we always have met them at the ferry dock have never needed to know where there location was. As far as parking goes hopefully the proposed parking area in the car ferry area, will be a reality the proposal calls for 150 sites which will be great because parking certainly can be a challenge. Have a fantastic trip we are looking forward to planning our next visit.
take care

Is that the house with the window in the swimming pool that looks in to the kitchen?

Beautiful photos!

Yes but the view is actually into the wet bar area below the main terrace which also connects to what you could call a small apartment. The villa was definately cleverly designed.
