Yes! I saw it but I have to say that I was disappointed at the properties they showed. I watch that program all the time and they have showed many tropical islands and the properties they show are usually "nicer" than what they showed on STT. I don't think it gave a nice picture of what there is to offer on the island. That's just my opinion.

Yes, I agree. The homes needed a bit of work including the last one. It was the second that had that "view" that mad my heart just melt! Parafins

I have no idea why they did that. Maybe because it was an investment property and she was going to live there?
It was disappointing.

Really? Can you get a turnkey home on STT for 400k?
I guess I don't know the VI real estate market well. My husband and I were surprised by (what we perceived) how inexpensive those properties were. The views were incredible and the income units were a great bonus.
To keep it in perspective, I know of a home in a neighboring town that overlooked the ocean (not beachfront) the house sold for 3 million and was torn down for new construction.

I could live quite happily in their new tool shed.

I know as it happens here often as well- they aren't making anymore coastline......that's why I'm so surprised that a home, with income property, with those types of views could be bought for that price.
