Yes they are, for 1/2 of the year. They do not change their time like most of the states do for daylight savings.

Yes, they are one hour ahead - now. They did not "fall back" last week.

The Virgin Islands are in the time zone called ---- Atlantic Standard Time -----this is the same time zone as much of Nova Scotia- we do not observe daylight savings - so we never have to change our clocks.

Actually all of NS, NB, & PEI are on Atlantic Standard time. Newfoundland, is another 1/2 hour ahead. Why? Just becasuse it's Newfoundland!!

Those darn newfies! God love 'em!
I hate the time change because it puts the Virgin Islands FOUR HOURS ahead of me! 3 hours is bad enough, but 4 is terrible!

Not unless WAPA blinks...then you have to change all the clocks

Most of the VI residents make sure the electric clocks in the house are equipped with a battery backup - especially - the alarm clock - and those pesky LED clocks that blink - 12:00 - well , they are taped over and not reset ever again.
Thanks for the Canadian info on Nova Scotia ? Do they observe Daylight Savings??
